..I blew three strips' budget on those sparklers.

It was three days ago to the day that I wrote this strip. Then I noticed its tone, and wondered: "Could there be some sort of anti-consumerism date coming up? To turn my drug-fueled nonsense into thick symbolism?". So check wiki I did, and guess what's tomorrow... Happy f'ed up Buy Nothing Day.
